I have had my trailer for over 10 years and always wanted to put a trailer jack on the front and stop messing around with blocks of wood and concrete to keep the tongue off the ground. After almost giving myself a hernia trying to hitch the trailer to my truck I ordered one finally. This came in and it is VERY heavy, heavier than I expected anyway. The kit was straight forward and I didn't even have to glance at the instructions. I put the jack in place and bolted it down, then I put the sleeve through the double wheels (very nice for stability) and ran the bolt through that. The kit came with the hand crank handle as well as the socket AND drill adapter which was very unexpected to be included. I used the drill to run the gear down, I recommend not using an impact as it may break something and a drill uses smooth torque. Once the wheel touched the ground I used the hand crank and this has an awesome gear reduction because the front of my trailer was loaded with a weight bench and car rotors easily 500lbs on the front of the trailer, and I could raise it with one finger.I am thoroughly impressed with this jack, my trailer is far more stable and I can hitch it to the truck a lot easier. Plus it folds away so I don't lose any clearance, my only grievance is the lack of handle storage, a lock pin or a sleeve to keep the hand crank somewhere close so that it doesn't get misplaced when you need it, I almost gave this 4 stars because of that but its such a minor detail in comparison to all the good that this provides, it looks like a standard tire iron would work in place if you lost the crank and the socket.

Ordered this Trailer Jack with Dual Wheels - 2,000 Lb Rated - 20-24V Cordless Drill Compatible - W/12" Lift for myDitch Witch tilt trailer. My old cheap crank jack when cranking it up, sometimes slips out of the pin hole/lock and the whole trailer falls to the ground, and it's just too dangerous when I have it loaded with my trenching machine that weighs 1,600 Lbs. Recently while shopping online for some trailer lights, I saw this heavy duty jack that has a weight rating of a good strong 2,000 Lb rating, and after reading about it and that it's made of carbon steel material, and that it comes with gearbox drive to crank it manually, or with a drill for easy up or down movements, I ordered it.This is one nice heavy weight and rugged built jack. I like the heavy build. It weighs almost 20 Lbs, itself!. It came with a nice shinny smooth finish too. I like that it has a grease fitting to keep it greased and smooth running. Also like that it cranks up and down so smooth, even with just the manual crank. The drill fit design is nice as my drill will raise or lower it in "seconds", not minutes. The strong 6" diameter wheels lets it maneuver in the grass or on packed driveway gravel in my parking area. I used the brackets that came with it to install because they are "heavy built material" and strong. I'm trying that first as it made the installation easy, but if also can be welded onto tongue (a nice option). It only took about 30-45 minutes to install. It works properly and does great for my use. I like that it came with the whole package from the wheels, jack, gearbox, crank, and even socket for drill use, and all needed brackets as it made it more affordable to own. Happy with order

Well made and works well. The length from the trailer rail to the wheels could be a little shorter. Unhooking I have to dig 2 inches under the wheels to get the jack to lock. Probably not a problem for a bigger boat than my 18’

I love this jack. The option to use a power drill to raise and lower it is priceless. I also like that that it came powder coated black.

I have a utility trailer that I’ve had for some years, used mostly to transport my ATV. Unfortunately, it sits out in the elements, and hasn’t been used for a few years. Well, now it’s time to rehabilitate it and return it to use. In the past, I’ve had difficulty with trailer jacks. For some reason, until recently, I never concluded that trailer jacks should be protected from the weather. So the original footed jack that came with the trailer froze, won’t move up and down, but can be rotated up out of the way. That didn’t disturb me, in the past, because I simply purchased an inexpensive, bolt on, wheeled jack from a company whose name sounds much like “Harbor Fright”. It worked pretty well for a number of years before it cracked from water getting into it and freezing, and rusted in epic form. So I needed something new.Enter this FZZD baby. It costs almost three times as the “Fright” one but, beyond that, there’s no comparison in build quality or durability. Just picking it up after removing it from the shipping box, one is immediately aware that this weighs a considerable amount more than the cheaper one. Although I have learned my lesson and will keep it covered now that it’s on the trailer, inclusion of an easily-accessible grease fitting should also help maintain its functionality. Being able to use a drill to raise and lower the jack is a very nice touch, although I’m not sure whether I will ultimately use that feature. I don’t typically have a lot of tongue weight, so the crank handle should suffice and be the most convenient. Beyond that, I really don’t have anything to add beyond what you can read from other reviewers, here. You should note that all the scrubs appear to have been as impressed as I am.So do yourself a favor. Paying a bit more for this jack than for the HF won’t break the bank or prevent you from buying dinner for the kids, tonight. AND the convenience and durability will impress you and serve you well for a much longer time. Covering it up to give some protection from the elements may make this jack serve you as long as you have your trailer.Thank you, FZZD for giving me the opportunity to test out your beautifully designed jack.
