Used these in making a removable cheek riser on my Yugo M48. I used the m4 after drilling a pilot hole, one of the 2 cracked despite no real tension on screwing it in. I removed it and replaced it without issue. I did use a dab of wood glue on the "threads" of the insert just for reassurance. All in all they're fine for non critical / non heavy duty applications

Nice collection of threads just what I needed. Good quality and seems hardy. I would recommend.

The material breaks quite easily. The hex recess stripped relatively easily. So, don't use it for hard material or application where you need to remove/retighten nut. It is a cheap option and it does work fine for weaker wood material. I tried a couple M4 and M5, and they stripped easily. The good thing I can break them easily with plier to get them out.

I had to get these because a product I purchased from another site was missing this and I received them super fast and was able to complete the assembly without having to wait weeks for them to send what I needed.

If u are starting to buy threaded nut, just buy the set because it gives u the flexibility to use the different sizes.. what I mean is, I like to minimize clutter on a.project. in you project if you are able to use the smaller sizes then this set gives you the flexibility to do it

I just got into woodworking, and it requires a lot of jig construction. So you get to buy tools to make tools before you get to actually make stuff. These have been great where I need removable or adjustable pieces. I've used them in oak, maple, pine, and plywood. I would recommend adding CA glue to plywood, but in every case they grabbed great, and haven't required any tweaking or tightening after initial installation.
