Working on a Solar panel charging station. Used these to connect the solar panels to the plywood backing.You have to make sure not to drill the hole to big. They do not stay in so good with a larger hole. But with the right sized hole they stay put when you tighten the screw down. Makes it good so you can remove the item (you installed with these) if you need to and you don't have to worry about holding the back side. This holds itself.

These T Nuts work great. I've used a few, and I'll happily keep the rest on hand so I'll never have to hold up a project to go buy them again.
