I didn’t want to bring out a big ladder from the garage to fix my curtain that fell off the end of the rod. It works and handy to have it around. Just to clarify, the tip is not a magic hand. This is just a stick with an U-shape metal at the end, so you can’t grab anything.

Does exactly what I got it for, putting) hanging clothes on a clothing rack thats much higher than reachable.

The gold tone paint looks like it will peel off by simply looking at it. Would have been best if it was just plastic and not try to imitate brass or bronze.It does what it’s supposed to do - help hang clothes high. But do one item at a time..

Our patio umbrella cover is always a hassle because the umbrella is too tall for us to get the cover on. This nifty pole and rod hook is easy to assemble and is sturdy enough to hold the cover and long enough for me to place the cover over the top of the umbrella. The umbrella came with a pole but it was a tent pole that was flimsy. This pole is sturdy and is long enough to hold the cover.It is made with aluminum and the "hook" part of the pole is preinstalled onto the last piece of the pole making it easy to assemble. All the parts of the poles screw into each other so it's no hassle.I recommend this pole if you have need of a pole to hold things in the air and to hook things onto high places.
