I was so excited to get this bread box. I immediately made a big loaf of sour dough. I took the lid off a few times to show my daughter, and one of the sides of the lid fell off. I love it that it is bamboo, I love the size of the box, but now I have to try to figure out how to wood glue the box together. Very disappointing. I do like the slicer, but the slices are a little thin for my tastes. I would not put this in the dish washer.So while it is a wonderful size and made of a wonderful material, I think the manufacturer needs to hold the pieces of bamboo together with something! They need to try a little harder.

Fantastic bread holder and slicer. This is the best bread box I've come across and perfectly holds my white bread I make from the machine. The box is made of very durable wood that's rigid and tough, withstanding bumps and things hitting it on mi counter. The included bread cutting guide is incredibly useful when cutting up a fresh loaf and easily I'm able to keep the bread similarly sized to the store bread. Overall this is a very valuable bread storage box that has allowed my family to keep the bread in a safe and secure place at the same time having a reliable guide to cut with. Highly recommended!

Every piece is wobbly, the "adjustable" part is just the bread stop, and the box doesn't get enough airflow to serve as a good bread box. The lid also sometimes creates a vacuum, from the airflow issue, making it awkward to remove sometimes. It is large, and could easily handle almost any bread loaf, at least.It's difficult to recommend when others have a higher build and material quality, and at a non-premium price point.

It's a nicely built bread box, made of wood, giving the ability to slice bread with a straight and clean cut. There's a wooden base inside with slats, to make those cuts possible, and you can leave the bread in that slat, reinsert into the box, bring it out when you're ready for another slice! Nice for a regular size loaf and smaller, especially if you're making your own bread. Would make a nice gift, too. It's not extra special, but very functional for the bread maker, and looks good on the counter or a table

Cheaply made. When I first got it I had to glue the corners back together on the lid, its been two weeks and now the box portion is splitting. I used the slicing portion on top one time and the knife caught and split the wood. Just purchase a nicer bread box, don't make the same mistake I made!

Beautifully made and works well. The craftsmanship is impeccable. The design works pretty good for slicing except I wish the cutting guides were just a little higher. As it is, you have to align the knife blade with the cutting space by eye before beginning the cut. It works ok if you are standing, but if you are seated at the table, like I was last night, you can't see the opposite set of tines over the loaf of bread so you have to guess. The result is some of the slices were too thin or too thick for the first inch or two. I know this is a minor gripe but it bothered me. It's a beautiful and practical gadget for the kitchen and I would recommend it to any of my friends that bake their own bread.
