I got these for a new build. I was in the process of plumbing. I like that they’re CPVC and not compression. They’re easy to glue on and seem of high-quality. I like that they’re a quarter turn. Also, I’m very happy with them and their price.

While these are indeed angles stopped valves with 1/4 inch turn they are not PEX. Their half inch NPT. Which is what they should be. The other end is also very typical 3/8 compression. It comes with the feral so you could go old school and use some soft copper or get a braided hose that mates with the compression fitting and make it easy on yourself.Cheers

The HeSun 5-PCs Angle Stop Valve, 1/2" FIP X 3/8" OD Compression is a good value at less than $5 per valve.I like this type of 1/4 turn ball valve in general, mostly because I've had fewer problems with ball valves over the years than any other type, The ball on this valve is either stainless or plated brass, unlike some cheaper valves that use nylon. Each valve is embossed with the UPC label and ANSI/NSF reference number.Overall, I'm very pleased with these valves.

Ok. I needed the 1/2" FIP to be a 1/2" compression connection so I couldn't use these for the connections I intended to use them for. I however DID have a plumbing "need" for this exact valve on ONE outlet. (Ok, I didn't "need" to replace this valve as I rarely even use this outlet, but it did have a "multi-turn" shut off on it, so I replaced it with one of these and it fit perfectly AND the 1/4 turn shut off was flawless!The come in a box with each valve inside its own individual box and are very good quality valves at a fair price. When you see a "good deal" on items such as these, you wonder, are they "cheap" or good quality? (At least I do!) If you buy them and they are "cheap" or break due to being low quality, you aren't saving anything! Well, I can attest that the ones I received were of excellent quality and comparable to anything you'd find at a big box supply store for more $$.

The people at HeSUN have produced an excellent product. Their five piece (*Pex see below)) Angle Stop Valve, are as described, and NO leaks!Their 1/2" FIP X 3/8" OD Compression, 1/4 Turn Pex Shut Off Valve, is designed to interface with any universal 1/2 inch pipe, ... period.The chrome plated brass finish aesthetically is very attractive.We have converted our second home into a duplex and needed all said units.Install was straight forward, they spin on easily, and the threads tighten securely, using teflon tape, with NO leaks.All five units performs as expected.* Yes, they fit using a pex pipe. Thus, the "FIB" (FIB stands for female iron pipe) brass fitting (see picture) will thread right into a "MIB" (Male pipe thread).Moreover, yes, I read all reviews prior to writing this review, and said web description is acurate, as you can see by my application.Questions, please ask.
