Very good valve but make sure you get the right one. This valve will allow for higher flow rates but the 728 will allow a 1-(1&2)-2 operation when using only 2 fixtures. Meaning one can use 2 fixtures at the same time. The 373 valve will only allow 1-2 operation so each valve functions independently only.

Very happy with the diverter valve. I used as a 2 way valve to control the transfer from tub spout to hand held shower. This item is very heavy (solid brass) and well constructed. The instructions were easy to follow and clear. I had no problems with the installation. You can find several diverter valve trim kits available for this valve from Kohler. I chose the small knob because I liked the look. This diverter valve is Either a 3 way or 2 way valve. If using as a 2 way valve follow the instructions and remove the inside plug before installation. Only one function works at a time. Kohler does have another similar diverter valve that has "multi function", or 2 functions at the same time. That one is a K-728-k-na valve.

I'm always happy with Kohler. They have very high quality products and are not too much of a pain to install. Make sure that you read all of the instructions completely and you do a complete dry run set up prior to closing out the wall.instruction manual can be different from what customer service tells you so consult a professional if you have any questions.

Works great to switch between shower and tub (I'm using it in the 2 position configuration). But, there's a position between shower and tub to allow the shower to drain so you don't get a tube full of cold water before the water that you just turned-on, but it's way too slow. Thus 4 stars and not 5.

This valve is intended only to divert the water between different outputs (one at a time).If you want to have water coming from 2 or more accessories @the same time you would want to order a transfer valve (which is cheaper than this valve).

This valve has 6 settings to supply 3 circuits. I assumed 3 in between would supply 2 circuits at a time. I had it installed with that assumption. it did not. Either my plumber installed it wrong, there is not enough pressure, or it is not designed that way. The instructions are not clear . I believe there is adequate pressure but in between settings only result in swatter trickling out.
