It works fine it's a solid made unit. Plenty hot enough would work for brazing, soldering on a small scale. It's quality made well worth it

It would be higher if they both were in working condition. The one came with the ceramic that protects it is cracked so it does not like properly.

Work great and I like the lock feature. Use in cooking but also I keep one as a quick soldering heat sorce when needed. Handy little torch and good value for the money.

First, It is described as an aluminum body. It is NOT! It is a plastic body, and a metal nozzle. This makes it very unstable when you set it on a table. It's very top heavy. The entire body is cheaply made!Secondly, the length of the body, between the base and nozzle is very short. I am a man with average to large hands. When I hold this torch, my last two fingers are on the curved out base. It is difficult to grip and hold while trying to push down on the torch igniter to fire the torch.Also, you have to print a label with your paper and ink, and drive to a UPS location to return!Still returning!

These are very good torches. I use mine in the kitchen and one of the best things about them is you can adjust the flame by the amount of Butane you put in them. If you fill it up you will have a flame almost a foot long. I put three squirts in mine and the flame is about 3 to be 4 inches. They are great!
