This controller is compact and does exactly what it claims to do. I like the large toggle switch for direction and the very clear wiring directions that are well-described in the listing and also printed on the device itself. Operation of the pot and the direction toggle switch are flawless. The limitations are that one of them died within a few weeks. So far the other is carrying on. I am not pushing them hard since I am using a 12 V 1.5 amp motor operating at about 0.5 A so I would expect them to last awhile. My main complaint is that they are assembled backwards in my opinion. The pot which can be easily panel mounted directly is plugged into the board, but the toggle switch which must be disconnected to install is soldered on. I had to remove and resolder those wires to mount it. Exactly backwards from what is needed. But not a bad controller overall.

I used this to work around a broken heater controller in my truck. The wires are way too short to be useful - but splicing is just a part of retrofitting.

I bought the advertized pair of these to use with my OHH system on my car. With only a current of 4 -6 amp the first one lasted about two hours. The two power transistors burned out. I installed the second one to see how long this one will last. The second item worked about a week.

Bought it for a small 24v dc motor. It's working good. Thanks
