Not used it just yet, but looking at it one can see it is very well built and certainly designed for penetrating so thick walls.

I had good results with this drill bit. I use these to blow holes through concrete block to run wire through. I have had good luck, just keep the bit cool and don't go too fast and this will make some good holes. Not the fastest bit I have used but it does cut. You do have to have the right fittings to screw into this bit, it does not come with the SDS Plus or Hex Shank to go into your drill, you need to provide that. Overall not a bad tool, good length and good machining.

This bit works great on non reinforced concrete, i have not used it wear I hit rebar so I can't say that it doesn't work but I know it works great for sections without rebar.

This 2-inch diamond core drill bit seems well-built, with an impressive length that looks perfect for deeper drilling tasks. The diamond cutting surface appears robust and ready to tackle tough materials like concrete or stone. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use it because the connection type didn’t match my drill, which was a real disappointment. I wish there had been clearer photos or details of the connection before I purchased it. I’ve taken some pictures to help future buyers avoid the same issue. Aside from that, it feels durable and well-constructed, so it should work great for those with the correct setup. Make sure to double-check your drill’s compatibility before buying. It’s a solid tool if you can use it!

This 2” diameter core drill looked promising, especially due to its 17.7” length, which is just what I needed to drill holes in a rock wall for a stairway handrail. The bit I received was well machined, straight and on-center, with no wobble. Unfortunately, it was a little lacking in diamonds. One of the four cutting edge’s bottom face was completely devoid of diamonds. Upon inspection I thought perhaps the paint was hiding them, so I figured I’d “dress” the bit by using it first in a soft sandstone boulder. It cut through the 10” thick sandstone without issue, a bit slower than I’m use to, but acceptable. Inspecting the bit after that first hole revealed there were no diamond chips on one of the four cutting faces. This obviously slows down drilling. The side faces had what I consider a light sprinkling of diamonds, perhaps a few dozen small chips per face. After trying the bit on the soft sandstone, I drilled a hole in a one-inch-thick stamped concrete paver. In both cases using a core-drilling rig with a water feed for cooling and chip removal. It cut the concrete ok, again, a bit slower than other bits I’ve used. I did not force the bit, I let it cut at its rate.Bottom line: The machining and alignment of this bit was top-notch, unfortunately the number of diamonds on the bit I received was lacking, resulting in slow cuts and shortened bit life. At a cost of nearly $50, I expected better.

The 2" Diamond Core Drill Bit with a total length of 17-3/4" is a high-performance tool that has truly impressed me. Its laser-welded segments offer durability and efficiency, making it ideal for drilling through cured concrete, brick, stone, and masonry walls and floors. The 1-1/4"-7 thread ensures a secure connection to most drills, providing excellent stability during use. I found its long reach especially useful for deeper drilling tasks, and it cuts smoothly without overheating. Whether you're working on tough construction projects or DIY masonry jobs, this bit is a great investment for precision and longevity! Highly recommended!

For folk who find it challenging to use this with their normal or impact drill, that is because this is meant to be used with a hammer drill. It needs the hammering motion in addition to the rotation to work best. And, it works through the concrete darn quickly when used right. Made great and even holes. It still worked with a normal drill, just not as well. And the folk who notice the wear on it, that is part of the reason.
