Good and sturdy for the low price. However the design cannot be symmetric for 16" joists with 2 of the feet facing in one direction and one in the other. It will need to be under some tension/distortion to attach to properly spaced joists. It looks like there is room to shorten and redrill each legs by as much as an inch which would help get closer to level on an angled flat roof. Also looks very easy to convert to a tilt mount if the front corners of the front legs are radiused and the rivet in the rear leg replaced with a removable pin. The size of the mast support collars are generous. In fact, I found I could use top rail with the tapered part down and get another 1.5 degree of adjustment using longer bolts in the bottom support collar.

I ended up returning this tripod. It was just too big & bulky. I ordered a different antenna that comes with a tripod that has telescoping legs. That meets my needs much better.
