In my day job I've put together quite a few non-pens. Considering the price this one is an OK value. It would be better if they included washer and absolutely needs a set of longer bars. Four support bars the same length does not work. I had to fabricate my own just to get the mast supported. Include two sets of different length bars.

Very durable and can withstand strong winds if proper weight(cement blocks) are used to weigh down the roof mount. Remember, this model is for flat rooftops only. Other models for peak rooftops are also available.

The product quality is not good. No instructions on how to put it together.

I found the base to be as described. I wish it were zinc coated like the Rohn style one, but we saved the money and painted it with zinc and a top coat. The original finish looks nice, but will rust easily. We used a custom pole from our local chain link fense supplier, to get exactly what we wanted. We added some bolts to the mast. Hardware supplied was fine for assembly, but our changes made additions necessary. The unit now supports three dishes for AREDN use.

Great mount for a flat roof. I used four cinder blocks to hold it down. Some complain about bolting the support arms at the top of the reach, however, if you can install what goes on the mast, you should have no problem slightly angling the bolts to secure it. I WILL use again.

It would be nice if it came with instructions but luckily i had my phone so I could look up the picture. Easy enough to assemble. You will have to provide your own mast and drill 3 holes through it i.e. one at the bottom and two corresponding for the arms - so measure twice. I actually am using this for my wifi antenna at our seasonal campsite - I have a 25 foot mast and I used 3 tension cables connected to the mast up high and the base along with some turnbuckles to make it nice and tight. 6 cinder blocks on the base and I think the only way its falling over is if it's hit by a car or a tree. Basically 6 pieces of angle iron with some holes in them and the legs for support. I am sure this would work great if you had a flat roof and a smaller mast as well - but it does the job for what I need.

I ordered 3 of these, along with the antenna mast in 2015. The first one was alright. However, the next one was missing one of the arms. Since we were able to get it working with 3 support arms, I accepted the sellers $10 credit. On the third order, we had another issue. The holes for the square carriage bolts were too small. They had to be cut out to accept the carriage part of the carriage bolt. In addition, the carriage holes were not cut properly. There is a major issue with quality control. We ended up having to drill our own holes. I've attached an image which depicts the problem better than I can with words. I've attached another image showing the missing leg.

We put this on top of an aircraft hanger and it is holding strong. Very easy to assemble and does the job very well holding two antennas with a five foot extension.
