Dual Sensors Guard against Danger
Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm features a photoelectric sensor that detects the smoke most commonly produced by smoldering fires, providing sensitive detection while minimizing false alarms from cooking smoke or shower steam. The advanced electrochemical CO sensor detects carbon monoxide leaks from multiple sources, such as faulty fuel-burning appliances, blocked chimneys, and generators running inside or too close to homes.
Easy to install:
- Turn the alarm body counterclockwise and take off the bracket.
- Hold the bracket in the installation position as specified in the Recommended Locations,mark installation holes of the bracket with pencil.
- Drill the two marked installation holes with a 3/16 inch(5mm)drill bit.Tap the two plastic gromments into holes with hammer.
- Mount the bracket to the ceiling by inserting and tightening the supplied screws into plastic grommets.
- Fix the alarm on the bracket and turn the alarm body clockwise , until fully inserted on the bracket.

After setting these up in different spaces, one of them would randomly go off every day or 2. The message was always 0 but it would still beep. After switching it with another from the pack, it would still happen, so I believe it was defective. I wouldn't buy these againUpdate: it's been 3 more months (less than 6 months total) since I bought these and a and unit is randomly going off, again with no message, and right next to a room with a different brand of alarm, that is not going off. At this point I'm going to just replace this and the last one too, before it starts going off in the middle of the night, for no reason. With previous review I have it 3 stars, but I'm dropping it to 1 star now.

I honestly like the design of this Smoke Detector, its very modern. The build quality is good as its really sturdy. The installation is very simple and it turns on automatically when you install it on the roof. The alarm sound is very loud so if there is smoke it is guaranteed to be alerted. Good product.

The Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detectors are wonderful. Easy to install and with a 10 year battery, I don't need to worry about them not functioning. Nothing is more important than safety for my family and these detectors give me piece of mind. They are sturdy and have easy to read levels. I would purchase again.

I originally planned to replace only the old smoke detectors throughout my house, but finally I found this one combines both a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, which is even better and safer for my house! Plus, with the 10-year battery life, I believe I won’t need to worry about replacing it until 2034 lol
