Bought a new stove with a control board on the front. The old stove was here when we bought the house and had to control board on the rear. The wall had been painted a couple of times around the stove so I wanted to cover the wall because the thickness of the paint would’ve been Thrown off and I didn’t feel like sanding looks great. It works excellent.

This is a stainless steel backsplash panel. It is 24 in by 30 in and is very thick and heavy. It comes with six pre-drilled holes to help you mount it. Unfortunately it did not fit our space so we are not able to use it as a backsplash for our cooktop. However, we do intend to use it in the kitchen somewhere because it is such an excellent piece of stainless steel. It is thick enough that I don't think it would be very easy to bend or shape, which is a good thing. This is an excellent quality piece of stainless steel!

It's a perfectly fine sheet of steel, but it's non-magnetic. I was planning to use this for a magnet board and it doesn't work at all for that. I didn't know this, but it turns out that certain types of stainless steel (austenitic) are not magnetic. It would have been helpful if the product description had mentioned that, or what numerical type of steel it was.Like I said, the steel itself is fine, it just doesn't suit my purpose.
