Well I ordered this to do some bad brake lines on my ford truck .. seamed to work well .. make sure you have some brake line to practice on .. there are no instructions .. But seamed to make real good double flares .. Anyway my brake lines are now replaced ... Thank you

The tool worked fine, cheaper quality than the more expensive ones obviously, but it did work. Used on both copper alloy and steel. Instructions, well they did not give you any. I guess nobody in that Chinese factory could speak English!

I'm not a professional mechanic but I do really like saving money, I also like the satisfaction from doing things myself and maintaining my own vehicle. Had to replace the gas tank on my 98 Corolla because it startedlesking. Over the last couple years I did a couple patches on my questionable brake line so I figure it might as well just knock them out while I have the tank out since it's be much easier.After much research I decided to spend a little bit extra and buy this tool and boy am I glad I didn't, this tool makes it very easy to flare the brake lines on the vehicle, no bench needed. It's not that hard to use flares the copper/nickel lines that I was using. Not sure how well this thing would do on steel lines but it did just fine on copper and wasn't an extreme amount of effort.If you're a do-it-yourself kind of guy that might only use his tool once or twice then it's great, I'm sure if you're a professional you would invest on a much more expensive and easier to use tool but this one works great for a guy in his driveway trying to save a few bucks. Worked good for me.
