I'm a high school shop teacher of nearly 30 years experience. At school, I am happy to report ,we have SawStop table saws , and they are EVERYTHING that they claim! Highly recommended! In my shop at home, though, I run a vintage Delta Unisaw that is probably as old (or older) than me. 1950's vintage, I think. Years ago, I replaced the original fence with a Canadian made "Excalibur" fence, which seemed to work ok for a decade or two, but in more recent years, has not held up. It would not stay put when locked down - it did not take much sideways pressure to cause it to slip, causing aggravation and potential danger. Parts of it - the roller bearings, the clamp pads - just seemed worn out. When I tried to tighten it up, it would get so stiff I could barely move it. The fence had become an aggravation and was potentially dangerous as well - It wasn't cheap when I bought it, but it was time for it to go. Did some research and decided that an old Delta saw would do well with a NEW Delta fence. This Delta T3 Fence and Rail system seemed to fit the bill, and the price seemed fair. I'm very confident and comfortable with the "Beisemeyer" T-square style of fence, having used them at school as well as in several shops I have worked in for decades now (Should have bought that rather than the "Excalibur" all those years ago, I guess...). Putting it on was not too difficult - Four of the original holes in the saw table (2 in the front and 2 in back) lined up perfectly, and I only needed to drill a couple new holes in the table extensions as well as in the side table that I had made years ago for the Excalibur fence. I also hung a new paddle switch (POWERTEC 71651) off the left table extension with a longer bolt of my own - SO nice to be able to shut the saw off by just leaning forward with my leg and not have to be fumbling around with my right hand for the old switch in the old location! Fence was easy to adjust to exactly parallel with the slots/blade, and it was not hard to adjust the gauge to read/measure accurately - and boy, does it lock down TIGHT. In summary, VERY happy with this new Delta fence for my old Delta Unisaw.

I installed this delta rip fence on an older craftsman 113 tablesaw, installation was very easy,(rather than trying to figure out the included installation directions, its much easier to install after watching several of the youtube install videos)I am very pleased with how well it works on the saw ,it made this older saw much easier to get nice accurate rip cuts,it was the best price of any of the other aftermarket rip fences available for this saw ,I highly recommend this item for anyone wanting to upgrade an older table saw rip fence

Replaced the fence on an old Delta x-10 36-380. Drilled a bunch of hole in the rails to fit . Took about 8 hours to complete the installation. New fence is fantastic, square, accurate and a joy to use compared to the original fence system. Yahooo!

Product was packaged well. This was an upgrade from my Delta UniFence System for my 1938 Delta table saw. The UniFence that I did have was never great and kept having to be adjusted more often than not. The Delta T3 took me 20-30 minutes to install and bolted straight on with no drilling like in other reviews. Once installed the fence was pretty much square out of the factory and only had to do subtle adjustments. It glides smooth and effortlessly and again the factory setting for the measuring gauge was pretty much spot on. Great upgrade and would recommend to anyone.

The process was ok, instructions where good. I did watch a vid on YouTube re this fence . I was able to use the rear guide rail holes and old threader bolts to mount the new rail that was a pleasant suprise! All in all very happy.

My old fence had taken more than its share of abuse over the years, and it was time to replace it. My saw is an 30 year old Delta Contractors Saw, but it still has plenty of life left and the table was in great shape. So I figured I'd give this a try.=== The Good Stuff ===* With a few hiccups (see below) , the installation worked pretty well. Out of the box, the adjustments were pretty close to dead-on, and everything was as plumb as my eyes could discern. The measurement scale was maybe 1/64th out- the very edge of being noticeable to the naked eye. A quick adjustment took a few minutes (decently well described in the instructions), and my saw now exceeds my ability as a carpenter.* The fence is big and sturdy. I think I prefer my old, thinner fence because it was easier to lock my hand to it when pushing material through..but I am sure I'll get used to this. When you adjust the clamps, it doesn't move, even if you bump it with stock.* The acid test- the first cuts I have made have all been square and plumb. I am very happy with the results.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* The instructions could certainly use some help. This is a $200 piece of equipment- the drawings should be big enough and detailed enough that you can easily tell the front and rear brackets from each other. It took a bit of logical inference to sort them out. C'mon.* The shipping container was a joke. It shipped in a lightweight cardboard box with foam inserts. This thing must weigh 30 pounds, so you can imagine what the box looked like by the time the "Amazon Prime" team delivered it. It had clearly been taped up on route and some straps added along the way. I was skeptical about even accepting it.* The mounting hardware was in a sealed bag...and contained enough screws to install the fence, install any oversized table panels, and bolt together most of a modern aircraft carrier. What it did not contain were the lock washers clearly shown in the instructions and parts list. Nothing worse than a trip to the hardware store first thing in a project.* The new fence weighs about half of what the previous one did. No idea if that is a good or bad thing, but certainly seems like it might be less tolerant of jobsite abuse.* The measurement scales appear to be a metallic "decal", not permanently etched like the old fence. Hopefully these do not rub off or scratch up.=== Summary ===I am mostly happy with this fence, although there are certainly a few things that could have been done much better. There is no excuse for incomplete parts in a product in this price category, and the shipping container is just comical. My biggest concern is how the fence will hold up- especially the physical markings on the measurement scale. However, it is straight, plumb and gives good results- all things that weren't true of its predecessor.

Installed on ridgid r4512 table sawLikes :-Rails and tube are pretty solid- installation wasn't to bad (had to drill new hole in the fence rail but NONE was needed for the table saw top . Holes had to be drilled slightly larger for the metal wings .- once setup, it stays pretty square , I've used this a fair bit to make a couple projects and has yet to come out of original squarness that I adjusted .- its very smooth if installed correctlyDislikes- packed/shipped/delivered horribly for something that has to be accurate . (See pics for reference when I opened the box)- as another review states , the fence faces are way overtightened from factory , made it concave in the middle . I will be replacing them with with either 3/4 mdf or poly board .- adjusting the fence is a pain for alignment as the adjustment screws are between the rail and tube .- the locking lever doesn't go all the way down to fully lock it into place . Just goes about quarter of the way you would think it should. It stays in place for a couple cuts but it had slipped afterwards. I might change out the plastic tab for a magnet in the future .All in all I like the fence/rails , its a massive improvement from the stock rigid fence (which is garbage) even with some tips and tricks to help with the alignment issue with it .With the price point , I would recommend to someone who owns a ridgid table saw to pick one of these up.Easy installation on

This is an amazing fence from delta , I have a contractor delta table saw and I had a fence that is very hard to work with ( not a T system) and with this fence installed it runs like charm on the tracks , so convenient and easy adjustments and it’s almost accurate from the box . Took me a while to drill some extra holes but it’s worth it and it says that it’s 30” rip capacity but guess what I made it 36 1/2by moving it to the right side 6 1/2 “ and I worked great , as a carpenter and a cabinet maker this have saved me a great trouble.. 100 recommended

Installation was super easy as I needed to drill only one new hole. Squaring it was simple as well. However, it gets only 4 stars because the aluminum faces are way overtightened from the factory, causing them to be concave. After I loosened them up, it was significantly better, but they will never be flat. Also, to add on my jessem clearcut, I had to loosen the fence faces as the body is just a hair too narrow. Worked out fine as I honestly only need one side anyway. But what a massive improvement over stock.
