We used them at work several times a day they last several years. They have a really good fit to the filter cap on Toyota. I use a 1/2 drive socket on them though, not a 3/8 extension as I think that's just looking for problems

As many people know, tools are very expensive and working in a shop, a variety of tools are necessary. I have been looking to purchase some Toyota oil filter cartridge sockets but was not about to pay Snap-on prices. I found these and are a great alternative to the name brand stuff.

A little loose on the fit, but that just means the cup stays on the cartridge housing. When tightening the housing back down, the cup pops off when it's tight. Recieved yesterday, and already used the small one three times today at work.

These oil filter removal tools fit the Toyota filters that I have quite well, EXCEPT the one that I orginnally needed it for. It does NOT fit the Toyota Camry 3L engine with the oil filter #90915-YZZD1. These only fit the 14 flute 64.5mm and the larger one does NOT fit the 72.5mm filter. We purchased a couple from Toyota and they slip. I also tried a Snap On oil filter end cap type removal tool and had to return it because it would Not grab the filters, either. These also fit my Mitsubishi, 4 cyl. RVR, filter #MZ690072 properly too.

I really didn't expect much. For a third of the price of the tool truck filter cups, and u get two. I mean, how much can u expect. But this is one of those rare times when the heavens part, the sun comes shining through, and there is a really great deal. If you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed. As a tire and lube tech I go through a lot of tools. I tried these at the request of a friend and I have to say I’m very disappointed. After using this filter cap 3 times it snapped in 2 pieces and cracked in other places. Obviously very poorly made. This product might be ok for People who DIY. But for regular use I don’t recommend this product.
