Not all the colors are the same size. Some are for A4 sized paper and some for 8.5 x11 paper.

They are nice file boxes, but like others are saying, they are too long for normal hanging file folders. I am disappointed because I ordered two sets of these for my classroom, along with a new set of hanging file folders, and they aren't compatible with each other.

I do alot with my volunteer work and this has helped me to keep things more organized. I have tried a desktop file organizer and I have more paperwork than it can handle effectively or efficiently.They assemble easily.They hold a surprising volume!They slide easliy into my cube shelf for a nice aesthetic storage when I'm done.The soft grey color goes well with my decor.If I could offer a suggestion for improvement, it would be to have a clear label pocket on the front of each organizer so the correct one could be pulled the first time, every time! That is my reason for the -1 from a potential 5 star review!

They are the correct size and look good. I've found that som hanging folders are too small to fit these boxes. Be sure to check sizes of files before ordering.

I ordered these after extensive research and days of going through pages and pages and pages file organizers on Amazon and Walmart.com. I got them yesterday and really love the look of them and how sturdy they are. They seem like they will hold up to becoming storage boxes, as they will not work for their intended purpose. They do not fit letter size hanging file folders, I immediately tried to place several letter size file folders in one and one side clipped on and the other side just dropped right in the box. I was so disappointed. Spending nearly $30 on something that you NEED and getting something you don't is pretty upsetting, especially after putting in the work to find something so right.
