This set of four, 4-foot long 4040 extrusions is very useful for construction projects. They have a smooth finish with no significant imperfections on any of them. Each piece is completely coated with tape and the four together were wrapped in an additional plastic layer. Those protective measures in addition to the sturdy Amazon box that they were shipped in probably helped them to arrive in perfect condition. They take standard 4040 4 mm t-nuts and associated fittings and are well made. If you are looking for long 4040 aluminum t-slot extrusions, these will do the job.
