I bought this as a spare for my 10-year-old pool heater as it has been having problems but I have not installed it yet. The pins are correct for my application so I assume that there will be no problems. Delighted that they make these repair units as a new heater was quoted to cost a couple thousand dollars for my application.

I just replaced the control board on my Pentair 400 pool heater with this OE replacement kit, and it made a huge difference. Initially, my heater was struggling to maintain temperature, and I suspected a gas mixture issue, but after swapping in this board, the problem was completely resolved. The build quality seems solid, with copper foil laminate and upgraded capacitors. Installation was straightforward, and the membrane pad fit perfectly. One minor downside is that it doesn’t come with detailed instructions, so if you’re not familiar with pool heater repairs, you might need to look up a guide. If you’re comfortable with DIY installations, this is a cost-effective and reliable fix that restored my heater’s efficiency without the need for an expensive service call.
