I bought this just to see if my surface was still working and almost threw it away until I saw this and got it the next day the laptop worked as if it was new and I paid way to much for it just to throw it away

I wasn't sure if this would work on an old surface pro I got, but it does! It charged a completely dead system in under 2 hours, so it worked great.

This is the 2nd aftermarket Surface tablet adapter I have purchased. The 1st had a blinking LED on the connector end where it attaches to the tablet. This was annoying. However, this new one lights steady just like the factory original. The magnetic release has a tight tolerance also just the the factory original. A good substitute for the MS original. Would buy again.

Had it plugged into a grounded surge protector once and it worked fine. Second time it was glitchy/sporadically charging. When I tried the third time, it doesn’t charge at all; no light, no connection, despite changing cord position, outlet, circuit. Not worth the money for approx 6hr total use. Photo is of the charger connected and plugged in with no charging happening. Disappointed and cheated.

Product Review: Microsoft Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 1, and Surface RT 48W 12V 3.58A AC Adapter ChargerMy experience with the 48W 12V 3.58A AC Adapter Charger that I bought for my Microsoft Surface Pro has been inconsistent.The charger didn't last as long as I had hoped, even though it originally functioned great, giving my Surface devices rapid and effective charging. Although useful, the magnetic connection appeared to deteriorate with continued usage.The charger began to show wear and tear after a few months of use. Maintaining a solid charging connection becomes challenging due to the unreliability of the claimed strong point, the magnetic connection. This problem caused frustrating charging disruptions on a regular basis.Overall, the charger was disappointingly durable even though it worked well at first. You might want to think about other possibilities if you're searching for a long-lasting solution. The charger performed well at first, but with continued use, it lost its durability.
