I ordered these polymer spin-lock collars to replace the original metal ones with a rubber ring that came with a set of dumbbell bars. They are exactly what I had hoped for: collars that, when tightened, stay that way!I posted an image of one of these collars next to the standard metal spin-lock collars. The original ones would always start to loosen during an exercise. These collars stay tight, yet they are easy to loosen to adjust the weight of the dumbbell. I am delighted with their performance. No more stopping partway through an exercise to tighten the collars.Their price is a great value, and I highly recommend them.
