I have a Black & Deck Workmate 200 and these clips will NOT FIT!No matter how hard I try the little locator pin is off by about 1/8 of an inch.

Replace the locking plastic clamps on Stanley workmate 550 from1995… about. These worked very well and the annoying flopping of the legs are gone. To replace, use a something like a screw to knock put the pin holding the leg and clamp. Insert the new locking clamp- I had to drill a little to allow this clamp to seat in…. Just barely some, don’t over do it- and insert it. Reassemble.

The part will not fit into the slot and hole at room temp. It must be boiled in water for at least 5 minutes for it to expand enough to fit into the workmate base. Then it's fits tightly, which is good.The contact surface for the folding leg is only marginal. It does not provide enough friction for me to feel confident the leg will stay in place when folded. It works, but barely.

These catches were shorter (the distance between the hook and the circular pin was shorter than the WM200 catches).

As others have said, this DOES NOT fit! As photo shows, the pin on this item is not located where the original pin is located.
