This is a tough, sturdy eye bolt. The welding is good and the threads are nice and clean. The included nut is a good snug fit, as is the washer. In my case good clean threads are important since I'm drilling holes with no tolerance. The bolts must be screwed through the two holes (front and back) I made in the metal upright: they won't just push through. I'm very please with these bolts, they are going to be fit for their purpose. As to the purpose: I'm stringing up a 25' curtain, composed of two 12.5' x 7' drapes over the front of my three-sided equipment shed to keep the sun out. It can be fairly windy in these parts, so I'm using a steel cable and require strong mount brackets. These do the job for a very reasonable price.

5 Pack Eye Bolt 3/8" x 4" Long, Stainless Steel Welded Extension Bolts Swing Basket Suspension Fittings Mechanical Eye Bolts with Shoulder and NUT for Indoors and OutdoorsI ordered this on February 28th, arrived on March 2nd, via Amazon, left at our front gate, intact and undamaged.Material is 304 Grade Stainless Steel, no mention on load rating but should be okay for my intended purpose, which is temporarily securing a small rig on the roof when I need to clean the exterior windows. The total weight of the rig is 55 pounds, weight is distributed and the base is lined with anti-slip material. The stainless steel eye bolts is an additional layer of safety to ensure zero movement when I am standing on the rig. I always use my fall protection harness secured to an anchor point on the roof. The fit and finish is nice, no sharp edges or burrs, 3/8ā shank is more than sufficient for the job. I did add nylon lock nuts in addition to the included hardware, did also use Loctite Thread-locker, is just my making sure everything remains secured.The suggested MSRP at the time I ordered it was 13% off MSRP which was nice. The lack of a load rating would normally be a Red Flag for me, but Iām letting it slide because there is basically no load since the rig is sitting on the roof and the base is covered with anti-slip material, so the eye bolt is just an additional layer of safety. So I am giving it a 5 Star rating, but consumers should be conscious of the fact that this eye bolt lacks a load rating. I do want to point out the 304 Stainless Steel is rust resistant and not rust proof. It will rust or corrode under extreme conditions, such as exposure to salt (like in Hawaii). So it is not maintenance free, you should set a schedule to at least check the hardware and clean when necessary.

Needed these to add extra strapping points on my motorcycle lift. These were the perfect fit. Didn't see any weight capacity or rating in the listing, but took a chance on them anyway. Although the listing says 3/8, they are actually M10 which is just a hair larger than 3/8. This didn't make any difference to me for my use and probably not for most uses. Just thought I'd mention it. They seem well built and strong. I'm confident enough in them to trust holding my 800 lb Harley upright or 1200 lb Harley in place. Good buy.

These are some heavy duty eye bolts with a great finish, but they are M10 and not 3/8 size as is mentioned in the listing. The photos in the listing show that they are marked as M10, so I'm not sure what the 3/8 is referring to, it's not the eye diameter, as you can see from my included photos. They each come included with a washer and nut which is actually a nice touch.

My wife and I have our home in a salt water coastal area, which means that the environment is pretty corrosive to lots of different outdoor materials. We had a large and fairly weighty pendant light fixture over our front door, on which I noticed a while ago that the ground wire was broken. I climbed up my ladder and saw that not only had the copper from the ground wire corroded to the point that it was falling apart, but the very eyelet installed in the electrical box from which the fixture was suspended was also highly corroded. I lifted up the fixture by its chain to take the weight off the eyelet and gave the eyelet a little wiggle and it completely broke apart in my hands. It could have fallen down at any point, potentially seriously injuring (or worse) someone who was standing there. Scary!Anyway, that incident was the very reason why I searched for a more robust and longer-lasting way to re-hang the pendant. Not too long ago while browsing Amazon I saw this package of eye bolts and it seemed to me that this hardware would do the trick. Having received the package I was very pleased that they looked even stronger than the product ad gave them credit for! Not only are they much heavier duty and made of thicker metal than the original mounting hardware (which was an aluminum alloy), these are made of stainless steel, which should last a very long time, even where we live.Although these are made of 304 grade stainless steel which can potentially rust, I've learned from experience that in our area at least if there is any corrosion at all it is a light surface rust (more like just a stain, really), and doesn't corrode straight through the metal like the aluminum alloys and non-stainless steel do. I haven't installed one of them yet, as while I'm at it I am going to upgrade the chain to stainless steel also, so I'm waiting to get the proper length of that before I handle the installation.This is a five-pack of bolts, with a washer and nut included with each bolt. Although I don't expect the bolt I install to corrode to the point of compromising its structural integrity, I still plan on keeping an eye on it, and if I see anything suspicious I'll have four back-ups so I'll be able to replace it.
