At the price if one fails, just replace it. I'm still on the first one. I use it to shut off fuel before it can flood the carb while the engine sits for long intervals.

Adding these valves to the loan mower and pressure washer will avoid the carburetor gets clogged when you leave it with gas for a long period of time. Just close the valve and let the engine run until the gas inside the carburetor is consumed and the engine dies. This way next time you want to use it there will be no dry gas clogging the carburetor

Work great. Clamps are a little small.

I use these on all my lawn and snow removal engines and turn off the valve and let the engine run out of gas while not in use, to prevent ethanol gas sitting in the carburetor bowl.

Easy to install. Comes with clamps. Cut the existing hose (when the tank is empty of course) and install a clamp on either end of the hose you just cut. Install the valve and slide the clamps into place. Installed them on a lawn vacuum and old snow blower that didn’t have a shut off valve. I turn off the valve while the engine is still running and wait for the gas in the carburetor to run out and then put it away until next time with the valve off. Don’t forget to turn it back on when trying to start it up again!!
