I was very impressed with the quality and the quantity for the price. Thick and smooth textured. As pictured, it turned out beautifully for the homemade butter candle I made to fit into a sourdough bread. It did not disrupt the taste of the better. The downside to the functionality of the the wick was that the flame would not stay lit long enough to melt the butter. If you are buying for this purpose, I would suggest letting your butter get room temp so it will melt with the wick.

Finally got around to using. They burn great, a little longer than my needs so I end up cutting almost half off but wanted the option just in case.

Bought these to replace wicks in a store bought candle. These are slow burning wicks, just what I was looking for. I melted the wax, poured into a different container, cleaned out the candle container with Dawn and some paper towels, placed the stickers onto the bottom of these wicks, placed in the bottom of the candle container, let the stickers set for 10 minutes then poured the wax in. They stayed stuck. Now I get to enjoy my store bought candle.

I image they work great for candles but I got them for a butter candle and they burn as fast as a sparkler and go out as soon as they hit the candle.
