Thought only one chair was broken but turned out both recliners needed repair.Measure and count coils. Price was great and someone with muscle replaced & repaired my chairs. Just like new again!

It is a spring of the dimensions given - but if your looking for a quality spring to replace one in a well made piece of furniture - the gauge of wire is smaller than an original - more wraps on this model and in some pics shows a foam sound dampener - doesn't come with it. Not a deal breaker - but be aware

We have a lift top coffee table that's over 10 years old and the springs snapped. We used these in place of the existing springs as they were the correct measurement (the company who makes the table hasn't made them for over 10 years and didn't have the parts). They worked great! We put them in and the table works normally. The springs are still a little stiff, but with use, they've started to relax enough to allow the table to go completely down. As with anything that has tension or uses springs, use caution. We were careful to pull the entire assembly off before installing the springs in the proper area.

This spring worked perfectively to soften the lift of my living room pop-up table. Just wrap a peice of "string" around the hooked-lose end of the spring, do a couple of wraps around your hand on the other end, PULL the spring to the cam. Done!

New spring helped our chair to keep extended leg piece in place. Chair is like new again. Yay! Take a photo under the chair knowing where springs are before replacing with the new spring. You will then know exactly where the new spring/springs go. Usually one spring is longer than the other one.

Even though these were 1/2" longer than the original springs, they worked. Sent one pair back that was the same length as original. Even though the same length and coil diameter, the springs were made of thicker steel and don't stretch as far. Bought this longer set and still had to use a large pry bar to get them to stretch into place. They work, just be ready to do some serious pulling or buy longer ones.
