Beware this basket holds no more than 14 grams. The universal minimum for double shot is at least 18 grams. Save your money!

Works perfectly in my De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus.It only differs from the OEM basket in that the filter grate is not removable. After six runs it has worked flawlessly producing espresso with a nice crema just as I prefer. It easily takes 11 grams of coffee and is an exceptional value.

If you didn't know there are 2 kinds of espresso cups, ones that are single wall mesh bottom made for bottomless portafilters, these generally go on higher-end (expensive machines) that build a lot of pressure. And then there are pressurized cups that look like the bottom is closed off (there is a small pinhole though) generally go on more inexpensive machines that need the pressurized cup to build the pressure needed to make a proper espresso. This cup is the latter and works well. You're supposed to use it in a non-bottomless portafilter but I'm using mine that way, read on: I have a cheap espresso machine and it doesn't build pressure well. The included portafilter was junk so I got a nice bottomless one but then I lost all my pressure so I snagged this double wall pressurized cup to regain my pressure and walla!! It worked!! So now I have a cheap machine that builds pressure well and a much nicer portafilter. Do note if using it in this unorthodox way you must use glass cups otherwise the jet of coffee pushing through the bottom will slice through paper cups because this type of cup was not designed for bottomless portafilters but you can use it that way to achive the desired pressure if that's what you need. overall 5 stars, works as advertised!
