This is NOT a cuisinart product. It does not look like the photo (it's oval) and does not fit DCC-450. It's misshapen and very cheap quality.

I just don’t like the time and trouble it takes to clean it. So after two uses I went back to the papers. If you don’t mind cleaning it every time, it’s a great tool.

It works fine, I only use ground coffee, fine or coarse and this gadget will do the work. It was a good purchase, I don't have to put paper filters on my supermarket list anymore.

Fits my Cuisinart 4 cup coffee pot perfectly. I never have to buy disposable filters again. If you want to add a paper filter it will fit inside perfectly as well. It has a tiny handle that folds away. It makes removing the spent grounds very easy, even when hot. This is one of those simple items that I can't do without. It's Eco friendly. It couldn't be better. The little scoop also makes the perfect cup, I put one level scoop per cup.

This is a permanent coffee filter and it is well made and saves me time when making coffee. It fits the small four cup coffee maker that Amazon also sells.
