Don't even think of using this with a small 115v compressor. The compressor will not keep up. With that said, I use a 230v 60 gallon compressor. The sander works great and the price was great.

The instructions were in Chinese or Mandarin or something along those lines so even though I'm familiar with how to use most tools, I could not get this one to function properly. I'm not sure it does work properly or that I'm doing anything wrong so I'm returning it and will find something that at least has readable instructions with it.

I like how productive it is, and so far its holding up to the every day use. It sands ballistic steel quite well.

I've used hand sanders for years and never could find something to get the small nooks and areas with your traditional palm sander. This robust air sander with cushion head helps get int those smaller hard to reach area. Saves a lot of time from finger sanding .
