This is a very small telescope. You either have to sit on the floor or sit it on a table. It takes a while to find something to view and it’s made with very light, cheap material. For the money spent, I would have rather spent a little more to get better quality.

We are so excited to give this to my nephew of 8 years old! He games a lot and there is nothing wrong with that but this will be a great way to have some quality time and take a break from the screens. Really miss just sparking the wonder in a child about the world outside. He will be a beginner so I'm not super worried about the specs, just the practice and interest in something bigger. Based off the measurements, it doesn't seem to take up too much room either.

This telescope is perfect for kids! It’s easy to put together, lightweight, and fun to use. Kids can see the moon and stars up close, and even take pictures with a phone. This telescope actually works!! I went through multiple telescopes with so many issues from blurriness to loose parts to all other issues but this one surprised me on how good it performs. On a clear night sky you can actually go out and see different stars and the airplanes even look cool with it! Even if you live in the city you can find something to look at. It’s so stable so there is no worries about parts moving when they shouldn’t. The pictures are clear, it’s easy to assemble and de-assemble. It works pristinely for its price point! I was recommended to buy by a friend who is really interested in astrology and it didn’t disappoint. It actually made me more interested myself. If anyone out there wants a product that gives you satisfaction when it comes to looking at the sky and the stars then you stumbled upon the product that actually fulfill that satisfaction. I would highly recommend it and it was delivered on time and no issues with the box or the product itself. Buy it and you won’t regret!

We bought this telescope for my son's birthday, and he has been one happy kid (and so has been my husband). It has provided hours of family time. It is super easy to use. You can easily see the moon and stars. You can get a descent view of the planets when they are in view. Make sure to buy a guide to the stars so you know the time of the year, and where and when to look for the planets and stars. This is best for newbies. It has really sparked my son's interest and helped us. I love that you can hook up your phone. My son is a professional at working the whole system, and learned a lot faster than us at 8 years old. There are a lot of how-to videos on youtube for those that struggle if you are one that needs the extra help, but it is quite simple to work. It is very portable to take with you and to pack away. It is a great beginner telescope, but it is a not a child's telescope either. It is truly great! It is worth the money and a great investment.

I got this for my curious little scientist talking about going to space one day..all day. We were super excited so we assembled it the very same day we got our hands on it (which was super easy following the instructions) and took it outside for looking at the moon . The built is good, seems like it wont fall apart easily. It comes with three lenses to provide different magnification levels and a cover to keep all stuff safe and for easy carrying. The only issue is I think its heavy for the focus knob as it keeps tilting on the side and I have to use an extra hand to support it.Also, if you are a beginner spend some time learning how to use a telescope before you take it out or you will end up seeing nothing but all blackout. We tried mulitple times and for 3 days before we actually get sight of the moon. Also, start with the least magnification and then level up.Lastly, I would say its bit difficult to use initially, (I wish they had some insight explaining how to start, for the beginners) and don't expect the professional results and you should be all set. Works well enough for the given price.
