It is recommended to replace the wick filters every 1-3 months. The replacement cycle can be extended or shortened according to your frequency of use, but the maximum time is 6 months.

Replaced Levoit originals with these filters/wicks in the humidifier. They do not last as long as the originals but you get a good deal for twice as many than the Levoit version sells for

The filter is not thick enough….the length is fine but I have to use 2 filters each time for the thickness

I just purchased these to replace my original filters and after one week of use I discovered that they are slightly taller than original, and it results of filter not fitting well in the place. This causes a large enough hole on the sides of installed filters (all four of them have same sizing issue). See attached picture.Holes on the sides make an air making through them instead of going through the wicks to moisturize the air in the room. This, in turn make humidifier work on high speed, most of the time, and going through the whole water tank twice faster than with original filters. Terrible product. Avoid it by all costs!
