How to adjust the length

  • All of our cups have a 2 cm (0.79") hole at the bottom.

    So, our cups don't collect water and you can avoid water mosquitoes.

  • This product can replace your downspout.

    You can attach this product to your hook or to the supplied adapter.

    And, we recommend fixing the lower part of the rain chain with a Basin or Stake so that it does not shake in the wind and rain.

  • You could attach it to an eave of your roof with a hook, but without a gutter to direct the rainwater to the rain chain, it would not have enough rainwater flowing through it.

    It is advantageous to have a gutter to allow rainwater to collect.

  • You can attach another rain chain by twisting it slightly using tools such as locking pliers, lineman's pliers, slip joint pliers, etc.

    Also, you can remove a few cups to make it shorter.

  • This adapter measures 5"L x 3"W x 2.5"H.

    You are able to connect to your rectangle gutter.

    To install the rain gutter adapter, a hole about 7cm (2.7 inches) in size is required in the gutter.

The product is made of quality materials, easy to install and looks terrific when installed. During heavy rains, its large design capacity to funnel the water overflow was very efficient and direct. Took off old downspout, caulked the adapter into the gutter, trimmed the excess metal on gutter, and hooked the chain right on! Had a few rainy days so got to see it in action. Every so often it also “Tink’s” like a wind chime. Very happy with the result. I had my paver guys place a catch basin to pipe water away from the house. They all seemed to like it too! I also added 2” of chain and took thin wire and looped it to the grate so it didn’t swing into the house in the wind. Even with my adaptations, was easy to do!

Easy to cut off cups to make the right length. I thought it was real copper but it is not. Looks nice. Hopefully it holds up

We love this rain chain, the only downfall is that sometimes the water splashes here there and everywhere (mostly the side of the house) from the leaf looking parts. It's not a huge drawback, but annoying when I see how many other rain chains work. Would I purchase again, eh, probably not. I'd probably try something a big more "cup" like.
