It was pretty annoying to get to and un-clip, but I changed out my flasher relay without much issue. This one fit right in and was a direct connection to the OEM plug. I'm using this on my 2011 Subaru Outback. I haven't changed out the rear bulbs for LED yet, just the front, no hyper flash at all.I will say that I have noticed after changing to this that the quick flashes from the lock/unlock are VERY quick, and sometimes they lights don't flash at all. Perhaps the car is trying to flash them quicker than this thing can keep up, not too sure. Just a weird quirk I noticed, does not bother me too much.Price seems to be in line with what I would expect.

This relay is a direct swap for the OEM Subaru one for the signals at least in the 2010-2011 Outback, I assume in many others as well, to fix hyper flash that comes from installing LED bulbs. It's a perfect fit, looks just like original, clips onto the factory harness, fits the factory mounting clip-in stud, it's exactly what's needed after installing LED signal bulbs in a car that was supposed to have regular bulbs. Only grumble is, at least on the Outback, it's not the easiest thing to reach, but that's on Subaru, not an issue with the part. Check Youtube for helpful videos for your year/model and it'll probably just be a few minutes' job.

Installed this to fix the hyperflash in a 2015 XV Crosstrek after installing LED bulbs. Everything works great when the engine is off and the car is on, but, once I turn over the engine the lights stop blinking and instead stay solid. When I turn on the hazards it works with and without the engine running.

Original flasher unit is tucked up on top of fuse box. Sort of difficult to get to, was able to disconnect the wiring and plug the new one in. Just ziptied it up behind the dash. It's not worth the hassle to take the old one out. Working great with LED turn signal bulbs.

I bought these to help not have hyper flash on my new headlight. I purchased that were LEDs and when I installed this one and took off the stock Subaru one it stayed stuck on the blinker and didn’t flash at all. Just stayed stuck, I tried turning the engine off and on and flickering the lights nothing made it work. Don’t recommend purchasing if you drive a WRX 2016-2019
