8K DisplayPort Switch Splitter DP 1.4 Bidirectional Switcher Support 8K@30Hz 4K@120Hz 2 In 1 Out or 1 in 2 Out Compatible with PC / HDTV / projector / monitor
8K DP 1.4 Switch: Supports resolutions of 8K@30Hz, 4K@120Hz, 1080P@240Hz, the transfer speeds up to 32.4Gbps, and is backward with all previous DP standards. (A standard DP 1.4 cable must be connected to enjoy the visual effect.)
This DP 1.4 switch can allow 2 DP devices to 1 DP display, or 1 DP device to 2 DP displays (2 DP displays do not display images simultaneously at the same time). It is suitable for office use when you need to switch PCs.
Special precautions before use:
1: If you want to enjoy 8K visuals, please use a standard DP 1.4 cable and make sure both the input and output support 8K display. And the cable should not over 3 Meters
2: Important note: Two displays cannot be displayed at the same time. If you connect one DP device to two DP displays, the two displays will not be displayed at the same time! !!
3: Press the "SECLET" button to switch between the two displays. Please wait patiently for about 5 seconds when switching.
4: This bidirectional DP switch requires an external power supply, so please keep the power supply when using it. While connecting to a device or display, you need to power this DP switch using a 5V/1A USB charger and a USB-Type C cable. Otherwise, nothing will be displayed on the display. (Only provide USB-Type C power cable. USB charger is not included, DC 5V/1A charger needs to be purchased separately by the customer.)
5: The DP cable connected to this DP switch cannot exceed 3M. If it exceeds 3M, the signal may be blocked. When the display is flashing, please check whether the total connection length is too long.

1. When switching one PC, the display will show one PC content.
2. When switching the other PC, the display will show the other PC content.
3. One PC is 8K and the other is 4K, the display is only 4K. That is, the display depends on the lower PC.
4. Two displays cannot be displayed at the same time.

Exactly what I needed to remedy a small issue I am having with my display drivers. When my pc goes to sleep and wakes up, my display port monitors will sometimes stay off. I would have to unplug the cord and plug back in after a few seconds. This display port switch fixes that. It makes it so that I can push the button and switch from the input to a blank input channel and back very quickly. This way I don’t have to reach behind my pc when this driver issue happens.It’s small, easy to use, and uses usb to power it. Doesn’t get hot and no loss in video quality.

I thought it was broken at first, since it would not power on when plugging into either the USB port on my PC or a USB adapter brick in a power strip. But then I tried using my own USB-to-Micro-USB Type-B power cable and it worked. Annoying I have to do that -- not worth returning over, but give it a try if it seems like yours isn't working.

Nice to have a displayport switch. I use this to switch between sending PC video to my sim rig or to the living room tv. Works well and nice that it can be a selector or a switch. Well priced too.

I’m a YouTuber and was looking for a display adapter to connect and switch between multiple displays. It’s very simple and easy to use, plug and play. Just know only one display is visible at a time, this allows you to easily switch between displays, nothing else. Great build quality and value.

This works well for my needs. I don’t have an 8k monitor so I can’t say if it went that high but I didn’t have a problem pushing 165 Hz to my 1440P monitors.I like that it’s metal and feels heavy. Duty has said a cheap plastic. I didn’t notice any flickering or any real screen degradation.

This displayport switch was exactly what I needed. I bought a Mac Mini and had a PC also. I needed to connect both to my monitor but in order to get 120Hz it required to use the Displayport... the problem was it only has one Displayport connection. That's where this switch comes in. Using it, I'm able to easily switch between my PC and Mac Mini and still get the max resolution and refresh rate supported by my monitor.This switch is also a great value for what it supports and the build quality. If you need a similar solution than me, I highly recommend this switch!

This Display port switch is exactly what I needed. I wanted one of my monitors to be able to switch between my computer and my work laptop. Easy to install and setup. You just plug in the power cord to a USB slot and you need 3 Display port cables but after that you're all set! Overall great switch splitter!
