High security + fool proof for forgetful people. Strange but true: all parts are ordered separately and, yes, a segment of rubber sheath must be cut off your expensive new ABUS U-lock. But once all is attached and in place, you will appreciate the high function combined with simplicity of use.For my set up, I use:ABUS Granite X-Plus 54 5.5"ABUS Eazy KF Bracket U-ShackleABUS Eazy KF Shackle Square Diameter Clamp 13mmI try to install the bracket so that the keyhole faces skyward which allows the key to always be in the lock when not in use. For ppl who sometimes forget their lock or their key, this system is fool proof (I have a few fools in my household so I speak from experience).I have purchased and installed four of these. It's the first thing I do when a new bike joins the household.

La instalación es algo tediosa, hay que quitar un trozo de goma que recubre el candado y te dejas un poco las manos, pero una vez puesto, se acopla perfectamente al soporte comprado a parte para la bicicleta, así ya te evitas el tener que llevar el candado en una mochila y tu espalda irá más aireada.

Yes it seems super silly to spend $50 or so between this and the bracket, but they're super robust.

ABUS doesn't make this easy. It seems like this clamp should just come with the lock, ideally pre-installed. It's surprising that one has to cut the plastic sheath on a $100 lock to put this on. I lined the clamp up with the sheath's end on the shackle and cut the sheath carefully with a sharp knife. Sliding the clamp on is also not easy. I used Park Polylube to lubricate the metal, and then a rubber mallet with a vise to lightly pound it on. The rest of the lock sheath slides around too if you're not careful. If you didn't cut enough sheath or didn't line the clamp up, you won't be able to close the lock. Once it's on, though, it works great!One note is that the Eazy KF bracket ($30) you need to go with this can be substituted with an OnGuard lock bracket:https://smile.amazon.com/ONGUARD-45008053-Onguard-Clamp-Bracket/dp/B0090C52SE/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2NP8RDTZ4WLZW&keywords=onguard+bracket&qid=1670521480&sprefix=onguard+brack%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-1They appear to be the exact same design. The mounting hardware is slightly different, including the diameter of the screw heads, and the OnGuard button is yellow, not gray. The ABUS bracket may be slightly sturdier plastic, but the lock definitely feels like it's not going to fall out of the OnGuard bracket.The family has a number of bikes, so I'm using genuine Eazy KF brackets on our primary bikes and OnGuard brackets I had lying around on the less frequently used bikes. When this arrived I thought it was not the correct part because it was difficult to get it into the EasyFit bracket. Turns out I was just being dumb and not pushing it hard enough: it's a tight fit. The other reviewer who wrote the extensive review with photos of how he fitted it is a legend. It's actually really simple to fit. Just put the holder so it was butting up against the lock part, wizzed around it with a knife, pulled the rubber off, and then knocked it into place with a rubber mallet (was a bit of a tight fit as well!). Jobs a good un. Holds the lock really well, saves it beating up the fruit in my pannier bag!

So I got this for a 12 mm shackle per the Abus website. When it arrived it was to small in diameter to fir the shackle on the lock. It is the plastic covering on the shackle that was the issue. There was no instruction to do so but I measured and cut off just enough to fit the clamp. I was actually going to return it as it didn't fit, but I worked that out. Minus 1 star for poor instructions.

My product matched the 2nd image (with 2 tightening screws). I removed the inner plastic sleeve (square shaped) to use with 14mm round shackle u-lock. Worked out pretty well and the fit with the mounting bracket (sold separately) is very solid yet easy to connect/ disconnect.

This does not fit the Abus 13m U-lock, because the lock has a rubber cover. Apparently one has to cut out the rubber to install this. This is simply silly!If you do cut the rubber, then it will work ok.

Accordinging to product review and amazon comments, the shackle was stated to support the large Abus ubar lock I bought. Disappointed that it does not fit my model, as suggested.

Livraison dans las délais et article bien emballé.Parfait pour l'antivol GRANIT X-Plus 540.Il faut juste découper et retirer environ 6 cm de gaine de protection (avec par exemple une petite scie à métaux) pour fixer le support.Nickel.

this works perfectly with the abus eaZy KF bracket for the 54 mini lock. I originally purchased the larger lock but it was way too heavy. the benefit of that lock is that it had a built in mounting bracket. the mini did not come with any bracket so you have to get the eazy kf bracket separately and this adapter to mount it. You only have to cut a piece of the plastic wrap on the 54 mini in order to slide this on and tighten with the screws that are provided. it's so easy to put my lock on now and take it off. also reassured knowing that the abus has the highest standard of security.

Keine Ahnung, warum meine Vorrezensoren XD so schlechte Bewertungen abgegeben haben.Ich gehe hier hoffentlich nicht von zu viel notwendigem Hirn aus, wenn ich darauf hinweise, dass die Kunststoffummantelung ggf. mit einem Kuttermesser abgeschnitten (gekürzt) werden muss.Mein Schloss ist gut 8Jahre alt und hatte ebenfalls damals nur die alte Variante der Befestigung dran (USH Halterung - http://www.amazon.de/ABUS-Universal-Schlosshalter-USH-54/dp/B00113BIVK/ref=sr_1_2?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1398529291&sr=1-2&keywords=ush+halterung). Es war komplett mit dem Kunststoffschutz ummantelt, der über die Jahre zwar etwas zusammengeschrumpft ist (sich verkürzte).Meine Halterung war inzwischen etwas locker. Folglich wollte (nicht musste) ich sie tauschen. Und habe trotz der negativen Bewertung mal die neue Variante (Easy KF - http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B003F88PY2/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) zusammen mit dieser Bügelklemme gekauft.Und bisher bin ich begeistert. Wird eine Umstellung sein, aber es lässt sich sehr gut einklinken und wirkt dennoch fest und sicher.Hierbei ebenfalls noch ein Tip, für die etwas weniger schlauen.Lotet das Schloss aus und stellt über die EaZy KF Halterung einen Winkel ein, der kein Moment erzeugt. Dann solltet ihr auch nach Jahren noch freude an dem Produkt haben.Nie vergessen der Kopf ist zum Denken da. ;)
