I have a ridgid portable 4 gal vac and this fits good. Ordered another brand and it would not fit my vac. With this I can hook it up and let it run while I tend to other jobs. Hose is shorter and smaller diameter than previous brand but not a problem. This best method I have found to clean lines.

The main drain on my AC system clogs up every summer, causing the overflow to spill out of the eaves of my house. Living in the incredibly humid Dallas, TX area, I deal with a lot of condensation that needs to be drained. As a result, I end up with a shower coming out of my eaves every year!I took this kit up into the attic with my shop vac and was immediately able to pull out a plug of hardened dirt that must have escaped through the filter. This dirt essentially turns into concrete in the drain and clogs it up. This little kit worked like a champ! I had no issues fitting it to the condensate drain line or my vacuum.Don't hesitate to buy this; it works very well. If you're unsure how to use it, watch a YouTube video and save yourself hundreds of dollars!

I was able to clear my condensate line apparently a little mouse decided to make a home in it and he was swiftly evicted when I hooked up my Shop-Vac. It's okay he before he was not harmed by the vacuum I assure you of this because he was a Krispy critter and had died long before. I'll bet it would work even better to get out some of the dried sludge if we ran water through it while using a wet / dry Shop-Vac. Very easy to use nice that it has a universal type fitting for the Shop-Vac end of it because I have different size hoses on shop vac so I can use this with any of them. Would recommend.

HVAC systems typically have a main drain line and a secondary in case that clogs up. My primary had clogged up and was dripping through my secondary which wasn't run all the way to the drain causing a bit of a mess to come about for water on my furnace ducts. I suspected there was a tool for unclogging my primary line, but didn't know what it was even called. This works like a charm on my shop vac and unclogged my primary drain line. This is a niche tool, but it's a money saver for sure.

Somehow my air conditioner/furnace condensation drain became clogged.Apparently there was some type of mold growing in it and accumulated dirt.Anyway, I got this and was easily able to vacuum it out.It did not take very long. It easily attached to my shop vacuum and was easily able to suck up the mold growth and some loose dirt in the line.

In Florida our AC lines tend to get backed up often. Having to clean them is usually a pain and includes using a wed and dry vac with plastic bags wrapped around the end to make a semi decent seal to suck out the gunk. This little device changes all that. With the various size options you can use a full size wet vac or a mini and it seals up great. I am able to clean the line so much faster now with minimal effort. Decent quality build. You won't wear this out, its not used that often to take much abuse. Should last a long time.
