Handle broke after a couple of deer this is the reason for the second review and lower score

Barely cut 1/4 of the sternum on a rather small deer and it broke instantly and I’m a female so I’m not very strong. This would have better luck with that kitchen knife that I used to butter my bread.

The design and material used for these saws are garbage. I broke the rubber handle on the first use of two saws.Update. AcuSharp quickly sent me two more saws and even threw in an extra skinning knife. They assure me that the manufacturer has fixed the design. I will increase my rating and keep you posted.

My husband really likes his deer-processing bone saw. Now he can stop complaining about having to use his hacksaw! He tells me its very sharp, and cleanly cuts through bone very quickly. For less then $19.00, its a good deal for a bone saw.I would certainly get this for him again, and recommend this saw to everyone that hunts or processes deer.

It was just what I wanted easy to use, nice design and very sharp. It just didn't last through the 1st cut. I was using it on a frozen ground beef log and the tip snapped. No I wasn't prying with it just sawing back and forward

Made one cut on pelvis of cow elk and the handle pulled free of the blade . Didn’t even cut an inch deep and broke! Total piece of crap! Hunting and not available to return by time frame on Amazon, now I’m stuck with this crap! Do not buy!!!
