The Best Glide ASE Spiral Wire Camp Saw is a larger and heavier duty version of the Best Glide ASE Spiral Pocket Wire Saw which has been used by the US Military for over 30 years. It utilizes a spiral cutting blade of 0.05 inches made of stainless steel. It is 24 inches long and incorporates larger 2 inch rings for longer term cutting and easier handling. It is lightweight and compact; and can be coiled up and easily included in survival and camping kits.
The Best Glide ASE Spiral Wire Camp Saw is more versatile and much safer than a flat blade, as the unique spiral design allows for cutting in any direction. It will cut just about anything including metals, plastics, ceramics, adhesives, rubber, wood and bone.

Worked great to cut off PVC pipe in the crawl space. We used it to cut off roots/small branches and had excellent luck. Need to let the saw do the work and not force it, otherwise it will snap the blade.
