Never got to assemble because the hardware was strewn all over the box. When I tried to organize the hardware (nuts, bolts and washers) it was obvious parts were missing. It didn't help the boxes flaps were not fully taped shut. This is probably were the loose hardware escaped. I am in the process of replacing the item.

I was asked by a family member to install starlink on a rental home with a slate roof. This really did the trick. Yes the instructions could have been better...and the size for the ballast is a little odd sized, I placed 6 normal red bricks on each side and there was still about 2 inches of extra space, but it absolutely did the job. Recommend

This was such a simple installation. Arrived quickly, good quality and easy to attach to the roof. Super excited when something works well and quickly.

Order shipped quickly, arrived in 2 days.... There was zero instructions in the box just the parts and two little small zip lock baggies with all the bolts etc....Even with no instructions It was put together in a matter of a few moments, carried to the roof, the adapter that fits into the actual gen 3 starlink fit and snapped into place easily enough so as far as installation and such, simple ... I had two 12 inch by 12 inch pavers that did the trick as weight ballast.I think I read somewhere that the angle on the pole adapter was a little off and sure enough it is, however I moved the entire apparatus enough that I got basically a perfect alignment..Much less expensive than the Starlink ridge line adapter, but so far doing its job perfect and I have zero obstructions (live rural area) with trees and even a small mountain behind home, but all is well with fantastic speed tests so far..The ONLY reason for 3 stars is the fact there were no instructions , however at the end of the days just at the picture was easy enough.... Worth the 159 dollar price tag.....

This kit is great for roof mount all parts are very well made. The black plastic gen3 antena mount fits perfectly and is high quality plastic with brass inserts. I was very pleasantly surprised by this kit. Will later give pictures of the installation.So added the installed pictures. One note, the kit was missing one long bolt, was easy to replace with 2.5 inch bolt nut at hardware store. I would also add a tube of black roofing cement to seal the lag bolts, see pictures. Also included are cement bolts and masonry bit for concrete roof, don't think that will be used too oftern un the USA. Do not use this masonary bit to predrill drill for the four lag bolts on a normal shingled roof, use about an 1/8" bit for the predrill. All in all it is a pretty easy to understand, if you have average DIY skills 😀 Also, I added 1/2" polyethylene black water hose tube to shield the starlink cable (just slit the black tub and put the starlink cable inside) probably over kill, but polyethylene is very impervious to UV. I did a few other things but I've talked enough. Just look at the pictures.... Again this is very solid kit....Good Luck

The mount is built well and easy to mount with only three anchors. I was shorted one of the carriage bolts so I did have to purchase my own at Home Depot.I did have to also cut a notch in the gutters to fully accommodate the mount (ymmv)

This mount is very basic and a DIY assembly. Not a lot of instructions, but not difficult to figure out if you have ever assembled IKEA furniture.The trays are non-standard 15 1/2” by 13 3/4” meaning that a standard 12” x 12” paver is going to leave a lot of space. 8” x 4” bricks don’t work either. I wish the makers had resized these trays for an American market, say, 16” x 16”.When my package arrived, all the nuts and bolts were floating around in the box, and one corner was torn open. There was a plastic that once held them, but the bottom of the bag was cut open. Fortunately, they did include an extra set of nuts, bolts, and washers. I was only missing one nut.There was some foam around the trays, but everything else was unprotected and bouncing around inside. I know we are all into minimal packaging, But throwing metal parts into a flimsy cardboard box is disappointing.I bought this particular mount because it was an Amazon Choice, but I also felt that it was overpriced given that I had to assemble it myself and find my own weights.

Love the mount. It's extra heavy duty that will stand up to Colorado winters. I was able to easily mount it under the eaves of a house, and it was long enough to get past those eaves.The only thing that could have been better was the upright pole wasn't quite long enough to get the starlink dish above the roof. I had to get a 2' pole to raise it above the roofline. But that's not their fault.
