I didn't realize tofu was so versatile. I followed a recipe where the water needed to be pressed. It was a nightmare! The tofu was rock hard because there was too much water in the tofu. I looked at many before purchasing this one. It is simple & easy to clean! Once the water is extracted, it doesn't touch the tofu. I tried a different recipe & it came out perfect! :)

Trying to eat more cholesterol free, and this press helps. Designed well. It has holes in the lid so you can pour out the tofu water once you press it. Handy! Build well, great value as far as I'm concerned. Size is perfect for the blocks of tofu I buy locally. Gave one as a gift and it was a hit!

Wasting less paper towels now. Only thing was the plate on top didn't go to edge. Also the knob to turn to squeeze down onto tofu is bit hard & slippery to turn. Ez fix was to put a rubber band around the knob.

I love this product. I went through a lot of paper towel to press tofu. Does the job - gets a lot of liquid out. Be sure to wind it up fully so it isn't hard to close, then wind to compress.
