I should never have purchased these nesting tools again. I purchased some a few years ago and forgot how fragile they are. Once again, I had the same results. In both cases they broke before the project was finished.

These first perfectly inside one another. The surface is nice an smooth tho paint. Aweso.e for holiday decor or what I will use them for a stocking stuffer. They came in a tiny box so they slide right in the stocking.

It is not well made and extremely hard to open and waaaay too smaller than on the picture, so it is not ok for the kids project or as the gift idea. It is not suitable as a toy if you are having a plan to make a unique toy for a baby as well
