These ladder locks are a straightforward take on the hardware on a lot of ladders, Werner included. I finally used them on a (slightly sketchy) older 20 foot aluminum extension ladder I have that's been looking a bit worn down, and they fit perfectly despite the manufacturer of the ladder being unknown.These are machined out of solid pieces of aluminum, and the plastic lock tabs have solid springs that keep them pointed in the right direction for use.My humble advice is to hit the sides with some sandpaper to deburr the sharp machined edges to avoid cutting your legs up. Besides that, the hardware they came with is sufficient, and they work a lot better than the old, rusty locks I replaced. Altogether, a great way to revive an old - yet otherwise functional - aluminum ladder!

The Ladder Lock Assembly Kit is phenomenal. My husband has a 32’ ladder that he was getting ready to throw out because one of the locks on it was broken. The Ladder Lock Assembly Kit gave his ladder another life. It works perfectly, locks the rings in place and securely. I would recommend this to anyone who’s contemplating throwing out their ladder. It’ll save you from having to throw your ladder away and buying a new one. With the Lock Assembly Kit, there’s no need for it.

Got these in hope to keep my 32’ ladder alive and it worked they worked in my Werner 32’ ladder brought it back to life and it was on its way out. With every dollar saved me from buying a new ladder
