Unfortunately this device only locks the case, it does not lock the actual air tag

This is a well-crafted password lock.The touch is rounded, so it won't cut your hands.- How to place an AirTag inside it?First of all, whether the lock is locked or not doesn’t matter. As shown in the figure below, you need to use the right pry tool (which is included in the product) to open the black outer ring. However, even with the tool, it's still difficult to pry the outer ring off, and you may end up scratching your AirTag multiple times.- AirTag Connection Issue with MetalOne of the most important things to note is that this lock is made of metal, which may interfere with signal transmission, making it harder for an iPhone to connect to the AirTag.For example, I put two AirTags in my car, both equipped with a protective case. The difference is that one is inside this metal lock, while the other is in a plastic shell.Sitting in the room next to the garage, I tried to make both AirTags play a sound. I found that the one inside the metal lock couldn't connect, while the one in the plastic shell connected easily.- Suitability of This ProductThis product is solid, and the password mechanism makes it easy to remove. It is suitable for travel luggage but not for environments with obstructions or physical barriers, such as inside a car or similar situations.

I bought this thinking this would prevent thieves from removing an AirTag from what it was attached to. However, it only secures the *case*, not the AirTag. The AirTag is not behind a lockable shield -- one can easily remove the AirTag with tweezers. So what good it this at all?
