I thought rather than buying a Genuine Kohler carb this would be a good alternative only to find out it's a time waster. Carb partially functioned, but not correctly at all. Seemed like the float was not working right. You get what you pay for in this case. I spent hours fiddling only to give up and pay 4X more for a good working (brand name) one. Sure it's cheap, but what's your time worth? Go through 3 of them before getting a good one?

Update: replacement carburetor working flawlessly! Fuel solenoid does not stop flow of fuel as needed to stop engine! Junk and a total waste of my time and money!

Had ordered one from the 'auction' site. Was listed as fitting 18, 20, 22 and 24 hp, ran rich, spit and backfired on hard throttle..Ordered this one for my CH640 20hp and hounestly had to tweek the idle screw 1/4 turn and that's it. Excellent idle, zero sputter or bog going off idle, full throttle has no miss, not running rich. This is on a UTV not stationary so throttle response is critical and this carb does all it should.

Worked great. Still want to keep the old one and clean it real good. These Chinese ones might not last the 30 years the originals did. This ethonol is just too rough on carbs. Find some non ethonol near buy
