I bought a cheap drum set that came with what can best be described as floor tom leg mounts off a kids drum set. They were stamped metal that had begun cracking from overtightening the wing screw.I didn't want to spend much money on this kit, but I needed better mounts. These fit the bill pretty perfectly. I would describe these as workable mounts for cheaper drum sets. They are almost carbon copies of the PDP mount. The shape and size are the same. They fit directly into the PDP rubber gaskets. But they aren't built as well as the PDP mounts. They are definitely a lighter casting than the PDP mounts, the clam shell hinged piece has a lot of slop and play in it where the PDP is much more secure. There is no spring on the bolt to keep the clam shell clamp open when the wing nut is loosened and the gaskets are... tolerable... but don't quite fit perfectly with the mount. Everything is just a bit more fiddly with these mounts where the PDP's are 100% solid and plug and play.That said, once you get them installed, they hold floor tom legs and tom arms securely. They do not have a notch built in for memory locks like the PDP's so if you like using memory locks, these aren't the mounts for you.Hole spacing is ~2 1/32" but that isn't too big of a deal if you are trying to use these with existing holes around 1 15/16" - 2 1/16" because the mounting bosses (nipples) barely poke out of the back side of the mount. With the gasket on the mount will basically sit flush with the outside of the shell and only the screws will be going through the shell.Speaking of the screws, as others have mentioned, the screws are really short, so expect to buy new screws. I wouldn't want to use the screws that came with these anyway because they barely have a washer on them. I prefer a bigger washer on tom mount/floor tom brackets to help distribute the weight. Screws are standard M5 threading.

I bought these to convert a 14" Pacific/PDP hanging tom to a floor tom. These were much more affordable than the name-brand PDP brackets, and they do a decent job. You have to tighten them down pretty snug to prevent any "play" in the legs, but considering I paid a little more than the price of ONE PDP bracket for all 3 of these, I'll take it. They're also a pretty close match cosmetically to the regular PDP brackets, which doesn't make it so obvious that they aren't original to the drum.Also, some other reviewers have complained that the included screws aren't long enough to go through a drum's shell and into the threads of the bracket. All I had to do was remove the regular flat washer and use only the star washer, and the screws were long enough. So hopefully that helps someone else!

Was short a screw so I had to rummage through spare parts to find a matching one. Might not sound like a big deal but it is if the weight of your drum relies on all of them to be there. Other than that, pretty solid product.

I've broken 3 or 4 tom mounts on my PDP kit over the last couple of years (my bad from not being careful enough- I've learned my lesson). This 3-pack was affordable and works great.

El producto llego con rayas en el cromado, las medidas de los orificios para los tornillos vienen unos milímetros mas separados, si el tom de piso tiene un grosor de 1.5 mm los tornillos que traen los soportes casi no alcanzan a entrar, uno de los soportes se rompió en la orilla por lo que ya el tornillo no sujeto La pieza, tuve que reducir el grosor de la madera del tom para poder ponerle el tornillo, en uno de los soportes al sujetar la pata, la mariposa también empezó a barrerse o trasroscarse, la verdad muy decepcionante la calidad, no los recomiendo para nada.

Hardware seems OK quality. Not the heaviest, but probably adequate. Good rubber gasket. Curvature fits my 16" floor tom. In addition to being a standard floor tom, I use it in two other configurations: vertically as the centerpiece and kick of a cocktail kit, and horizontally as the kick in a pocket kit. I like the design of these brackets, because I need them to accommodate different diameters and be able to grip tightly for each of these kit configurations. The gripping grooves in the hinged jaw really do the trick.However, the mounting screws are spaced 2", center to center (NOT 2 1/8" as someone incorrectly answered in a product question). Why isn't this included in the product description? It would've been good to know, since my shells have holes spaced at 2 1/8". Also, these brackets seem designed for metal shells, because screw sockets do not extend into the shell—they sit flush with the surface. And the supplied screws are too short to reach through a normal wood shell.Since I don't know of any other similar designs out there with spacing even close to what I need, I will probably slightly enlarge the holes in my shell to accommodate these brackets, and I will track down some slightly longer mounting screws to reach through my multi-ply wood shell.Total PITA, but...whatchagonnado? Honestly sellers...would it KILL you to put complete and necessary product information in your descriptions? Ugh.
