I bought it when I saw it available because my comparable 1" cutter, while very useful on my shaper for jointing long boards in conjunction with a power feeder, is useless for 1 1/2" material which turns up often in my shop. While I have a perfectly good General 8" jointer, this scarce cutter will enable me to joint 12' to 16' boards with reasonable accuracy on the shaper.

Own several amana blades and love them all work great but this 1/4" triple blade tears out the finishNot a good blade for what I'm doing
