I am delighted with this thermometer and astounded at the functions and accuracy at this price point, frankly, I've had far more expensive with less functions, clumsy design and accuracy issues. Bonus - display can be set in either direction for readability.

I purchased this to use with my dog who was pregnant. Its not perfect and I didn’t expect it to be but it gets the job done for what I wanted. I lift her ear and use the “forehead”scanner so not actually in her ear. HOWEVER, I can totally see my using this with my grandkids (correctly). I love how it has multiple ways to use it -forehead, inner ear, objects, and I seems to also be able to read the room

Been using it for a while now and the readings are always wrong. I compare them with another manual I have. I had a fever and the reading was completely off. I wouldn't use this for babies since you will need an accurate reading. I use it for water temperature and environment which is basic things that I can feel.

Not great at taking accurate temperatures, but still somewhat useful as a reference. Easy to use.I'm rarely disappointed with things that I get online as I usually try to do my due diligence in comparing products and reading reviews, but I definitely feel like I wasted some money on this thermometer. Having a couple of little kids, I wanted something that could quickly, easily, and accurately tell me their temperature to know if they were feverish or not. I was getting readings all over the place with this thermometer, with wildly different readings with the different modes. I immediately found I couldn't really trust the accuracy of this product. I kept it though because it is so easy to use (and what earned it three stars), and now I just use it to check my kids' temperatures relative to mine. If it says that they are 101°F, but that I am also over 100° when I feel totally fine, then I deduce that they don't have a fever. But in the end, buyer beware that your money is probably better spent elsewhere.
