How do they work?
Our mercury free thermometers use smart FeverScan technology in conjunction with color changing crystals to read temperatures. The non-intrusive design makes them a great choice for newborns and children. Plus, they're latex free and super durable so you can reuse them time and time again to protect your family's good health.
How should I use them?
Apply strips directly to the center of the forehead and wait for the color to change. Note: Thermometer strips should be used on clean and dry skin only, and temperature is not as precise to the decimal point as an internal thermometer. Read the results after 15 seconds.

I've had these for 30 years. The old ones (who knows who made them) still work. I got a package of these so I could sprinkle them around the house, purses, cars, boat, motorhome, yadda, yadda. After trying several, non worked at all. They didn't change color at all. I made sure the foreheads and test water cups were at proper temps using a NIST traceable thermometer and a couple of thermocouples on my DVM. Useless, I guess you have to buy an overpriced single strip from a brand name to find one to work like like the old ones.

I bought these thinking they were neat! They are neat, but they do not stick to forehead. It's hard to get a toddler to stay still to check their temperature with these
