Seems to fit and work. It was quick and easy to install. It does require extra effort to fully latch, there is a hard click when it does latch. The original latch was much smoother but that lever was longer and broke off. This is a shorter lever and I don't see this one breaking off as the other one did due to the difference in the lever's length.

The part installed easily and works perfectly. My only complaint is that the closing handle is much shorter that the original so not as easy to manipulate when locking or unlocking the door.

panicked when the latch broke on my sliding glass doors which we have had since we bought the house. The sliders are so durable and probably one of the best things that came with the house when we bought over 20 years ago. The latch fit and does the job. So happy I don't have to worry about having to find this latch all over the Country.
